GOLF EVENT RESULTS
Gales competed in the Sectional Tournament on Wednesday, October 2, held at Denison GC. The Gales finished in 12th place out of 16 teams shooting a 360. The Gales were led by Gabe Betts who shot an 80. Jacob Miller shot an 84, Zane Brengman 96, Ben Richardson 100, and Bryson Branham 103.

Last Tuesday, September 3rd, Lancaster hosted the Lancaster Invitational at the Lancaster GC. The Gales finished 8th overall shooting a 349. The Gales were led by Jacob Miller who shot an 81. Gabe Betts shot an 82, Zane Brengman 91, Bryson Branham 95, and Ben Richardson 102.

On Saturday, September 7th the Gales competed in the Grove City Invite held at Hickory Hills GC. The Gales shot a 352 which was good for 10th out of 15 teams. The Gales were led by Gabe Betts who shot an 80. Jacob Miller shot an 87, Zane Brengman 88, Bryson Branham 97, and Devon Schultz 110.

In a recent competition, Pickerington North finished with a score of 322, followed by Worthington Kilbourne with 327 and Watkins Memorial with 332. Hilliard Davidson came in at 334, just ahead of Upper Arlington with 335. Grove City followed closely with 337, and Teays Valley scored 342. Hilliard Bradley finished at 348, while Lancaster and Newark posted scores of 349 and 354, respectively. Gallia Academy came in at 355, with Logan scoring 368. Licking Heights and Pickerington Central posted scores of 380 and 382, respectively. Lancaster B finished at 407, while Reynoldsburg ended with a score of 408.
Individually, Zach Ayers led the way with a score of 75, followed by Cole Beckett with 76. Kevin Drake and Joey Cannistra both finished with a score of 77.

The Gales played in the Pickerington North Invite held at Pine Hill GC on Saturday, August 31st. The Gales shot a 358 which was good for 12th out of 16 teams. Jacob Miller shot an 85 to lead us. Gabe Betts shot an 86, Zane Brengman 93, Bryson Branham 94, and Ben Richardson 97.

August 28th, the Gales traveled to Darby Creek for the 3rd round of OCCs. The Gales battled the heat and came in 2nd place shooting a 169 behind Reynoldsburg's 157. Leading the Gales with a even par round of 36 was Gabe Betts. Jacob Miller shot a 42, Ben Richardson 45, Zane Brengman 46, and Bryson Branham 48.

August 26th, the Gales played in the Bob Pritchard Memorial in one of the last tournaments held at Moundbuilders CC. The Gales shot a 352 and were paced by Gabe Betts who shot a 79. Jacob Miller shot an 85, Zane Brengman 91, Ben Richardson 97, and Bryson Branham 98.

August 24th, the Gales played in the DeSales Invite held at Chapel Hill GC. They shot a season low 349. Jacob Miller shot a career low 79 to lead us. Gabe Betts shot an 80, Bryson Branham and Zane Brengman shot 95s, and Devon Schultz 100.

Saturday the Gales went to the Kent Miller Colonial Tournament held at Vernon View GC. The Gales shot a 353 and were led by Gabe Betts who shot an 80. Ben Richardson shot a career low 82, Jacob Miller 94, Zane Brengman 97, and Bryson Branham 100.

Monday the Gales played in the Golden Bear Invite held at Zanesville CC in a loaded field. The Gales finished 14th out of 16 shooting a season low 350. Jacob Miller shot an 82 to lead the Gales. Gabe Betts shot an 83, Zane Brengman an 87, Ben Richardson 98, and Bryson Branham 106.

On Wednesday, August 14th, the Gales finished 4th in the second round of the OCC Buckeye held at Turnberry GC shooting a 351. Ben Richardson and Jacob Miller both shot 86s to lead the Gales. Gabe Betts shot an 88, Zane Brengman, 91, and Bryson Branham 95.

On Monday, August 12th, the Gales shot a 372 to finish 12th out of 16 teams in the Warrior Invite held at Cumberland Trail GC. Leading the Gales was Gabe Betts with an 80, Jacob Miller 89, Zane Brengman 101, Ben Richardson 102, and Jackson Cluse 110.

On Saturday, August 10th, the Gales were invited to compete in the Families for a Cure Invite held at the Golf Club of Dublin. Gales finished 7th shooting a 374. Leading the Gales was Gabe Betts with an 83. Ben Richardson shot a 93, Zane Brengman 99, Jacob Miller 100, and Greyson King 113.

The Gales played in the Westerville Invite held at the Medallion Club on Thursday. The Gales finished with a 374 in a loaded field. The Gales were led by Gabe Betts who shot an 80. Zane Brengman shot a 95, Jacob Miller 99, Ben Richardson 100, and Greyson King 113. Dublin Jerome won the event shooting a -2 286 as a team.

The Gales started the season at the Pickerington Central Invite held at Turnberry GC on Monday. The Gales shot a 365 to come in 11th out of 19 teams. Junior Gabe Betts, flew in an eagle from 50 yards out on the last hole to lead us with a 78. Junior Jacob Miller shot an 82, Sophomore Ben Richardson 100, Senior Zane Brengman 105, Junior Greyson King 107, and Junior Bryson Branham 119.
